GCSE Results

The Garibaldi School students celebrate phenomenal individual exam successes. This Year 11 was the smallest in this school's recent history with only 99 students in the cohort. Other year groups in the school are nearly twice the size. This however did not impede the students as they celebrated after receiving their results.

Wiktoria Malota was the stand out performer on the day, achieving eight grade 9s and a grade 8. Wiktoria said “All the hard work has paid off. I was hoping for some good grades and I am thrilled with my results. I really appreciate the teachers’ support”. Wiktoria will now move into the school’s sixth form.

Other key performers from the school were:

  • Jack Manifold who achieved five grade 9s three grade 6s and an A grade. Jack is moving into the school’s sixth form.

  • Charlotte Dallman who achieved two grade 9s three grade 8s three grade 7s and an A*. Charlotte is currently deciding where to continue her studies.

  • Joshua Sargent who achieved three grade 8s four grade 7s an A and a Distinction*. Josh is moving into the school’s sixth form.

Mr Hawley Head of School said “Today is about our students, we are all pleased for them. They have worked extremely hard and been supported by caring staff at the school. It is important that we all reflect on the students efforts and celebrate their achievements.”
