World Book Day
Students in years 7, 8 and 9 were given the opportunity to share their favourite parts of their favourite books in their English lessons, take part in a Staff Autobiography competition during mentor time (which will run until Friday 15th March), watch and listen to some words of wisdom from this year’s authors of World Book Day’s £1 books, and discuss their reading habits with staff and their peers. Students have been provided with a World Book Token to use, and further information on this is provided on the World Book Day website: https://www.worldbookday.com/
Overall, students really made the most of the activities on offer and were thrilled to be able to read and relax with their favourite books. Keep reading and keep sharing!
