University of Cambridge Trip

raising students' aspirations (Whole School - 04/04/2019)

On Monday 2nd April, Mr West and Mr Coleman took twenty Year 10 students to Peterhouse College, at the University of Cambridge, as part of the school’s raising aspirations agenda.

The students took part in a taster lecture on Anglo Saxon English and enjoyed a tour of Peterhouse College by one of their student ambassadors. Students were also treated to lunch at the College and enjoyed a careers-focused game in which they were able to explore pathways at University and understand more about degree-level professions, such as Medicine, Law, and Teaching.

We look forward to further developing our relationship with the University of Cambridge and thank the staff at Peterhouse College for their time and efforts in helping us to raise the aspirations of students.
