Pride Week 1
Last week marked the first week of our Pride month celebrations. Staff and students alike started by sharing positive messages around Pride and creating displays in their classrooms, shining a light on the importance of diversity, respect and acceptance.
This week our amazing student volunteers will be running a cake sale in the Hall on Tuesday, with all funds raised going to a local LGBTQ+ charity. They will also be starting our ‘Umbrella Project’, an art installation created by staff and students using, you guessed it, coloured umbrellas! More to follow on this one as the project develops………
