Annual Awards Ceremony

Year 7 to 10 and 12 (Whole School - 24/07/2023)

The Garibaldi School’s prestigious Annual Awards Evening took place at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex, Sookholme for the Year 7 to 10 and Year 12 students for the academic year 2022/2023.

Students were nominated by teachers, Governors, or the Head Teacher. Around one hundred and fifty students were presented with a prize and a certificate across the evening. The commentaries provided, by staff who nominated award winners, were full of praise for the students’ hard work, commitment, resilience and positive attitudes to learning. For everyone in attendance it was a reminder of the rewards that these qualities can produce and the power of education to help young people bring about change.
