Congratulations
On Tuesday 25th February fourteen Year 8 students represented the school in a sportshall athletics event at Manor Academy. All students performed extremely well and proudly wore The Garibaldi School logo competing with confidence, support of their team members and showing good sportsmanship at all times. PE Teacher Miss Gibbs commented "I was very proud of the character of all students I took to this event; well done to all for their achievements."
The girls' team achieved 4th place and the boys' team received a gold medal for their 1st place position.
The boys have now qualified to represent Mansfield schools in the next stage of this event being held in April at Harvey Haddon.
Well done to all students who participated in this event and good luck to the boys in the future.
